| A little history |
| The production of foie gras is an ancestral tradition whose origins can be traced over 4,500 years back. A fresco discovered in an Egyptian tomb showed a slave feedin a goose with figs. This proves how old this tradition can be. (Saqqarâh necropolis) |

| The foie gras is rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Their consumption is recommended in our food because they cause to lower the rate of the bad blood cholesterol. A quality which could explain the exceptional longevity of the people living in the south-west of France. |
